Murphy Lab develops 3D synthetic animated mouse

A team of researchers led by Dr. Tim Murphy’s lab at the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health (University of British Columbia), including CONP Scholar Dr. Dongsheng Xiao, has developed a synthetic animated mouse capable generating data to more reliably train machine learning algorithms that analyze animal behaviour.

Their work was published this week in Nature Methods.  An excellent summary of the work can be found here:

The CONP congratulates the Murphy lab for this innovative work and valuable, high-profile publication!
