The CONP is pleased to announce the second edition of its Scholar Awards that will support and create a network of highly qualified personnel with an interest and/or expertise in open neuroscience.
These awards aim to help people who are either pursuing a graduate program or already hold an advanced degree – such as a Ph.D, M.Sc, MD, Pharm.D or JD to develop their expertise in Open Science.
The awards are for a period of up to one year and represent a total amount of $25 000/year for graduate students or $50 000/year for advanced research trainees (applicants from non-partner institutions must provide matching funds – refer to the guidelines for a complete list of partners). Interested applicants have until January 31st, 2020 at 23:59 (Standard Eastern time) to submit their application.
Research projects must be directly related to building widely accessible platforms, resources, datasets, analytics or disseminating neuroscience results that will contribute to open neuroscience. For a detailed description of the competition guidelines, refer to the document Scholar Program Guidelines.
Please note that the application will be opening in early January.
