Gabriel is a doctoral student under the supervision of Lyle Muller in the Department of Applied Mathematics at Western University. His research explores computation in high-dimensional recurrent neural networks.
Research Project
Gabriel’s project aims to help unravel the complexity of working memory in a bottom-up approach. By combining high-density, multi-site neural recordings with biologically realistic artificial neural networks, Gabriel aims to build a model that performs working memory tasks similarly to humans. Such a model offers insight into the fundamental building blocks of working memory.
