Dr. Roberto Souza did his graduate studies (2012 – 2017, M.sc. and Ph.D.) at the University of Campinas, Brazil. He worked as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Calgary (2017-2020). He was recently hired as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence also at the University of Calgary. He is interested in open research and currently manages the Calgary-Campinas public brain magnetic resonance imaging dataset.
Research Project
Deep Learning is expected to make magnetic resonance imaging up to ten times faster. My project consists of developing an online benchmark platform to compare different models. The platform can be accessed through the following link: https://sites.google.com/view/calgary-campinas-dataset/home.
Dr. Roberto Medeiros de Souza has recently become an Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary. Our congratulations to him!
