I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary, where I work under the supervision of Dr. Roberto Medeiros de Souza. My research focuses on improving Magnetic Resonance imaging by leveraging multi-visit information. I am passionate about developing improved data integration strategies to reduce medical imaging wait times.
Research Project
I am currently investigating how longitudinal Magnetic Resonance (MR) information can be incorporated into deep-learning reconstruction networks to enable accelerated acquisitions. Currently, subject multi-visit scans are not considered during follow-up studies. However, they contain an abundance of mutual information that can be leveraged to improve the acquisition and reconstruction of MR imaging. Speeding up MR acquisitions could lead reduced wait times and improved patient comfort.
