Tamir Avigdor is a Ph.D. candidate in the Integrated Program in Neuroscience at McGill University, co-supervised by Drs. Birgit Frauscher and Christophe Grova. Prior to joining their labs, Tamir received his M.Sc. in Brain Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His work aims to improve our understanding of human sleep as a local phenomenon using advanced neurophysiological tools.
This project will be realized as an open database of intracranial EEG recordings for each state of sleep from different parts of the brain. This will allow the community to visualize and analyze a large high-quality dataset of high-resolution brain activity recordings from different regions during sleep.
